9.15am	Welcome and self registration. Free choice activities - painting, gluing, scissor and pencil skills, larger construction toys, jigsaws, play dough, sand and water etc.	Children separate from main carer with confidence, feel safe and secure and demonstrate a sense of trust. Show increasing independence in selecting and carrying out activities.
10.15am	Small groups	Changes daily.
10.25am	Pack and tidy away.	Show awareness of how to transport and store equipment. Develop flexibility and independence. Show awareness of change.
10.35am	Calendar and circle teddy time.	Talk about significant things that have happened to them. Show interest in the lives of people familiar to them. Have an emerging self-confidence to speak to others about what they are interested in.
	Singing. musical movement or musical instruments	Show an awareness of space for themselves and others. Recognise rhyme in spoken word. Move freely with pleasure and confidence.
10.55am	Snack time.	Communicate, share, take turns, count cups and pieces of fruit.
11.05am	Toilet time and washing hands. Book time.	Enjoy looking at books. Have a favourite book.
11.15am	Large play equipment and dressing up.	Show awareness of space for themselves and others. Use a range of small and large equipment. Take risks and explore within the environment.
11.30am	Story time.	Listen and join in the stories.
11.40am	Coats on.	Show increasing independence.
11.45am	Home time.
